Terms & Conditions
We want everyone who uses Head Turner’s service and website to have a positive experience. We would recommend reading our Terms and Conditions carefully before accessing and purchasing from our website.
You must agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions, in order to continue to access this website or purchase any of the products.
Bookings and Appointments
If you would like to use Head Turners for you wedding or event, we would recommend doing so as far in advance as possible.
Due to the number of enquiries Head Turners receive, a deposit is required to secure a date. This will be deducted from your final payment. The deposit is fully refundable up until four months before the booked date. If the booking is cancelled less than four months prior to the event, the deposit will not be refunded.
Head Turners reserves the right to refuse, cancel or change an appointment at any time without warning.
Head Turners offers daytime and evening (up until 8PM) appointments, Monday to Saturday. During peak times, it is highly likely that Saturday mornings will be booked up for a wedding, and not available for trials and appointments.
During peak season (April to October), all bookings and events on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday must meet a minimum spend of £240 (excluding travel and trial costs.)
If there is a decrease(s) to your wedding party or event, Head Turners must be notified within 60 days of the booking. If this decrease results in the cost dropping below the minimum package booking rate, the standard surcharge will be implemented. If Head Turners is not notified within the 60 days, the full, original charge will be needed.
In the highly unlikely event or rare occurrence that your booked stylist is unable to make the appointment at the last minute, we will endeavour to provide another stylist for you. If this is not possible, a full refund will be offered, but Head Turners will not be liable for any consequential financial loss, or additional costs incurred.
If the wedding party is large, or there are short timings for the services required for the wedding or event, and another stylist is required, an additional charge will be required, depending on the level of services required.
An extra £50 non-refundable deposit per additional stylist is required seven days prior to the trial, or appointment.
Location and Travel
Head Turners is based in Horsham, West Sussex, and mainly covers appointments in Sussex, as well as Surrey, Kent, Hampshire and London. Travel out of these locations, and abroad is possible on request. This will be at an extra cost and can be discussed directly before booking.
Martine Turner and the team will travel by car or public transport to the bookings. The first 20 miles each way (40 miles in total), is free for the client. Travel beyond 20 miles each way is payable at 45 pence per mile. A travel cost will be agreed and confirmed at booking and will need to be paid before the appointment along with the remaining fee.
All parking fees, toll or congestion charges are payable by the client. In the event of last-minute cancellation or postponement, the client will reimburse any of these fees already paid.
Wedding Trials
Wedding trials for Head Turners will usually take place at founder Martine Turner’s house (RH12 2LB), where a specific room and extensive kit is set up. If you would like the trail at your own destination, a travel cost will incur.
A trial is a no obligation appointment and payment can be made in cash or on debit/credit card at the end of your appointment, or by bank transfer two days before. Changes to Head Turners prices from when your trial is booked, until the day itself will not affect you.
Please note, it is not always possible to have your trial on a Saturday, especially during peak season (April to October.) Weekdays are on offer though.
Payment
All appointments require a booking. For a wedding it is £50 and other services will be a percentage of the final payment.
The remainder of the balance needs to be paid 21 days before the event/appointment (apart from trails – see wedding trials for more information on this) by electronic bank transfer. All funds must clear by the time of the event.
Payment online for products in the shop must be paid in full before purchase.
Please see privacy policy for information on secure payments and storing details,
